Associate director, Private Equity

Lucas is part of the Private Equity investment team and is a Board observer for Escher and ZetaDisplay.

Lucas joined Hanover in 2018 and re-joined in 2022 following working in healthcare investing for Goodgrower. Lucas started his career as an Analyst in the UK Mergers & Acquisitions Group of J.P. Morgan in London.

Lucas holds a First class degree in English from the University of Oxford.

Portfolio company accountant

Francesco is supporting the Hanover Operating Management finance team, and the Portfolio Company finance teams, in a variety of areas.

Prior to joining Hanover in 2021, Francesco worked in KPMG, where he was an Audit Assistant Manager working on a variety of clients, and achieved first time passes in all his ACA examinations.

Francesco has a Masters in Engineering at Cambridge University

Executive Assistant

Brenda is an as Executive Assistant to Hanover Operating Partners.

Brenda joined Hanover in 2022 from Negentropy Capital Partners where she was a Senior Operations Manager.

Previously she worked at Boring Money, Global App Testing and the Family Office of Dr Jerome Booth in EA / Operations roles.

Brenda studied Business Administration and Communication at the University of Johannesburg.

Operations Administrator

Susan is supporting Operations and Administration teams for Hanover Operating Management, where she is focusing on operations and back-office project management.

An experienced business operations administrator and manager, Susan has a wealth of experience working specifically within legal and accounting firms in the support of senior partners and office management.

Susan is AAT qualified with 20+ years’ experience in business operations and SME business management.

Associate Director, Portfolio M&A

Guy is part of the Hanover Operating Management team focusing on portfolio company refinancing activities, preparations for exit and bolt-on acquisitions. He is also a board observer for Kalibrate.

Guy joined Hanover in 2021 from PwC’s Transaction Services team where he was a Manager in London, having originally come to the UK from New Zealand in 2020.

He qualified in Law and Commerce from the University of Canterbury, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and was a member of the New Zealand bar.

Portfolio Company Finance Director

Martin is part of the Hanover Operating Management team, providing financial support and continuous improvements for the Portfolio Companies.

Martin joined Hanover in 2022. Previously Martin has held a number of FD roles in the past and he joined Hanover from Glory where he most recently held the role of EVP Global Finance and IT.

Martin has a broad finance background as well as experience in establishing and leading non-finance functions.

Non Executive Director

Nick is a Portfolio Company Chairman / Non-Executive Director.

Nick joined Hanover in 2019 and spent the majority of his career at Capita plc where he joined in 2006, progressing through several divisional leadership roles in finance and as Managing Director before being appointed Group CFO in 2015. In 2017 he also acted as Interim Group CEO for almost one year. Nick left Capita in 2018. Earlier in his career, Nick was Chief Financial Officer of Liberata plc and held senior Corporate Development roles at a number of organisations, including Centrica plc and Senior plc.

He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992 at E&Y, where he spent 10 years working in the UK and US.

Portfolio Company Finance Manager

Jiri is is part of the Operating Management team, providing financial support and continuous improvements for the Portfolio Companies.

Jiri joined in 2021 and his experience prior to Hanover has been a mixture of both financial control and transformation within SaaS and manufacturing businesses.

Jiri is CIMA qualified.

Associate Director, Strategy & Operations

Arthur is an Associate Director on the Strategy & Operations team, which works closely with portfolio company executives to deliver value creation initiatives.

Arthur joined Hanover in 2021 and previously he was an Associate at McKinsey, working on both strategic and operational projects across a range of industries.

Arthur earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge and his Masters in Engineering (First Class Honours) from Imperial College London.

Associate Director, Portfolio M&A

Henry works within Hanover Operating Management's M&A team, focusing on sourcing and executing acquisitions for Hanover’s portfolio companies.

Henry joined Hanover in 2017, initially in the Private Equity strategy where he was involved in financial and strategic analysis and the sourcing of public-to-private acquisitions Escher, Brady and Clearstar. Since moving to Hanover Operating Management Henry has been involved in bolt on transactions across Europe and the US.

Henry holds an honours degree in Mathematics & Economics, with a focus on behavioural finance.

Director and Head of Leadership Strategy

David is a Director and Head of Leadership Strategy. He is responsible for supporting investee companies across their leadership and talent activity.

Prior to joining Hanover in 2022, David spent 9 years at YSC, a leadership advisory firm, partnering with GPs to build and develop management teams that deliver value throughout the investment cycle. He is experienced in supporting GPs internally with Partner selection, DEI, hiring, leadership development, and deal team effectiveness.

He is an ICF accredited Executive Coach. He holds an MSc in Occupational Psychology from Birkbeck, a GDIP in Psychology from UWL, and a BA in American Studies from Manchester University.

Portfolio Company Finance Director

Leona is part of the Hanover Operating Management team, providing financial support and continuous improvements for the Portfolio Companies.

Leona Pritchard joined Hanover 2022, from Palletways Group where she was a Group Financial Controller. She has previously worked at Healthcare at Home, Luceco plc and Pinsent Masons LLP.

Leona studied Physics at the University of Reading.

Portfolio Company Finance Transformation Lead

Corrine joined Hanover as Finance Transformation Lead. She is part of the Hanover operating team supporting the Portfolio Companies.

Corrine joined in 2023 after working closely with Hanover during previous roles at Regenersis Plc (subsequently renamed Blancco Technology Group) and more recently Brady Technologies Ltd.

Corrine is a charted management accountant.

Portfolio Company Finance Director

Lucy is part of the Hanover Operating Management team, providing finance, compliance and commercial support to Hanover Portfolio Companies.

Lucy joined Hanover in 2018 after working closely with Hanover during her previous roles at Regenersis Plc (subsequently renamed Blancco Technology Group Plc).

Lucy has a Bachelor of Arts in accounting and financial management. She is qualified as a chartered accountant.

Compliance Analyst

Dianne joined Hanover as a Compliance Analyst, based in the Malta office. In her role she carries out day to day Compliance and supports the Compliance Managers for Hanover Investors Management (Malta) Ltd and Hanover Investors Management LLP.

Prior to joining Hanover in 2023, Dianne worked within Alpha FX Europe Limited (Alternate Banking Services), dealing with customer KYC, customer screening and due diligence.

Dianne holds a bachelor’s degree in law and a subsequent masters in advocacy degree from the University of Malta.

Portfolio Analyst

Jessica Banfield joined Hanover as a Portfolio Analyst assisting in delivering data and analytics across Hanover portfolio.

Prior to joining Hanover in January 2024 Jessica worked for Lloyds Banking Group spending a year as a Portfolio Analyst at LDC, prior to this she worked in Senior Funding, Debt IR and Ratings for the bank.

Jessica is an ACA qualified Charted Accountant and studied Economics and Finance at the University of York.

Head of ESG

Rebecca is Head of ESG, having previously held the positions of Chief Finance Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Projects.

Rebecca joined Hanover in 2013. Prior to Hanover Rebecca co-founded Oxford & Cambridge Investment Management in 2000 and was Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer until 2007 when the business was transferred to Bank Insinger de Beaufort. She remained with the Dutch bank for two years heading operations for the OCIM business unit.

Rebecca is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and a member of the Institute of Directors, and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Funds Controller

Irina focuses on day-to-day activities of several Hanover Funds in Private Equity and Credit strategies. She oversees funds' operations and manages relationships with Fund service providers.

Irina joined Hanover in 2017 and previously worked as a Senior Administrator at fund administration firm Abacus Financial Services (Malta) Ltd and has worked at two major banks in her home country of Russia.

Irina holds a degree in Banking and Finance (Honours) from University of Malta and is working towards the ACCA qualification. She is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Malta Institute of Accountants.

Financial controller & Compliance manager

Diane is a financial controller, appointed MLRO and oversees the Compliance function for Hanover Investors Management (Malta) Limited.

Diane joined Hanover in 2017 and prior to that she was an accountant, an auditor and a general manager in different financial services companies in Malta. In her early career Diane was an auditor in E&Y.

Diane is ACCA qualified and is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Financial controller

Matthew is a Financial Controller and an internal Auditor.

Matthew joined Hanover in 2023. He started his career as auditor at KPMG and gained international experience across various sectors and industries, including Insurance, Banking, Tech, Venture Capital and iGaming. He then moved into the insurance industry as a Financial Controller with specific focus on financial and regulatory reporting in Malta (MFSA) and in Switzerland (FINMA).

Matt is a Certified Public Accountant and holder of a Practicing Certificate in Audit in Malta. He holds a B.Com in Accountancy and Banking/Finance as well as a B.Acc Hons in Accountancy from the University of Malta.
