Guy Cornthwaite
Associate Director, Portfolio M&A
Guy is part of the Hanover Operating Management team focusing on portfolio company refinancing activities, preparations for exit and bolt-on acquisitions. He is also a board observer for Kalibrate.
Guy joined Hanover in 2021 from PwC’s Transaction Services team where he was a Manager in London, having originally come to the UK from New Zealand in 2020.
He qualified in Law and Commerce from the University of Canterbury, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and was a member of the New Zealand bar.
Nick Greatorex
Non Executive Director
Nick is a Portfolio Company Chairman / Non-Executive Director.
Nick joined Hanover in 2019 and spent the majority of his career at Capita plc where he joined in 2006, progressing through several divisional leadership roles in finance and as Managing Director before being appointed Group CFO in 2015. In 2017 he also acted as Interim Group CEO for almost one year. Nick left Capita in 2018. Earlier in his career, Nick was Chief Financial Officer of Liberata plc and held senior Corporate Development roles at a number of organisations, including Centrica plc and Senior plc.
He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992 at E&Y, where he spent 10 years working in the UK and US.
Jiri Kosak
Portfolio Company Finance Manager
Jiri is is part of the Operating Management team, providing financial support and continuous improvements for the Portfolio Companies.
Jiri joined in 2021 and his experience prior to Hanover has been a mixture of both financial control and transformation within SaaS and manufacturing businesses.
Jiri is CIMA qualified.
Arthur Kouyoumdjian
Director, Strategy & Operations
Arthur is a Director on the Strategy & Operations team, which works closely with portfolio company executives to deliver value creation initiatives.
Arthur joined Hanover in 2021 and previously he was an Associate at McKinsey, working on both strategic and operational projects across a range of industries.
Arthur earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge and his Masters in Engineering (First Class Honours) from Imperial College London.
Corrine Slater
Portfolio Company Finance Transformation Lead
Corrine joined Hanover as Finance Transformation Lead. She is part of the Hanover operating team supporting the Portfolio Companies.
Corrine joined in 2023 after working closely with Hanover during previous roles at Regenersis Plc (subsequently renamed Blancco Technology Group) and more recently Brady Technologies Ltd.
Corrine is a charted management accountant.
Ghazala Ali
Executive Assistant to Founder Matthew Peacock
Ghazala joined Hanover as an Executive Assistant to Founder Matthew Peacock.
Ghazala joined Hanover in 2025 with a diverse background supporting international companies, having worked across project management, operations, and as an Executive Assistant to CEOs and Founders.
She holds a BA in English Literature.
Robert Azzopardi
Financial Controller
Robert is responsible for the Finance functions of Hanover Operating Management LLP, Hanover Investors Management LLP, as well as various other entities. He has also been appointed as an Internal Auditor for Hanover Investors Management (Malta) Limited.
Robert joined Hanover in 2025. He began his career at EY Malta, where he was seconded to EY offices in Milan, Cleveland, Bermuda, and Luxembourg. He has 15 years of experience in financial services, having worked with Liongate, a fund of hedge fund manager, Praude Asset Management, a UCITS/AIF fund manager and OANDA, a global CFD broker.
Robert is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons.) from the University of Malta. He is a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants.
Loria Boban
Executive Assistant
Loria is an Executive Assistant supporting Partners and Directors at Hanover.
Loria joined Hanover in 2025. Previously, she worked at The Guardian as an Executive Assistant/Team Assistant and at JamJar Investments as an Office Manager/Executive Assistant.
Loria graduated with First Class Honours in Music from University Of West London.
Irina Camilleri
Funds Controller
Irina focuses on day-to-day activities of several Hanover Funds in Private Equity and Credit strategies. She oversees funds' operations and manages relationships with Fund service providers.
Irina joined Hanover in 2017 and previously worked as a Senior Administrator at fund administration firm Abacus Financial Services (Malta) Ltd and has worked at two major banks in her home country of Russia.
Irina holds a degree in Banking and Finance (Honours) from University of Malta and is working towards the ACCA qualification. She is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Malta Institute of Accountants.
Diane Cauchi
Financial controller & Compliance manager
Diane is a financial controller, appointed MLRO and oversees the Compliance function for Hanover Investors Management (Malta) Limited.
Diane joined Hanover in 2017 and prior to that she was an accountant, an auditor and a general manager in different financial services companies in Malta. In her early career Diane was an auditor in E&Y.
Diane is ACCA qualified and is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA).
Bjorn Grech
Risk Manager
Bjorn joined Hanover as a Risk Manager based in the Malta office. He forms part of the Risk Committee and works closely with investment team, operations and finance teams.
Prior to joining Hanover in 2023, Bjorn served as the CEO of an investment services firm and fulfilled the roles of Managing Director and Risk Manager for a Maltese Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM).
He is a certified accountant from the University of Malta and holding a Diploma in Fund Administration from the University of Manchester.
Paul Keegan
Head of Investor Relations
Paul oversees the day-to-day client service, client on-boarding and account maintenance.
Paul joined Hanover in 2018 and previously worked for Merrill Lynch and BlackRock within fixed income client services and most recently as operations manager at Finisterre Capital, an Emerging Market Hedge Fund.
Paul holds a degree in Accounting and Finance and a Masters degree in Economics from Manchester University.
Vanessa Mairangas
Accountant
Vanessa Mairangas joined Hanover as an Accountant in the Malta office.
She began her career as an Audit Assistant at EY, where she was involved in statutory audits for clients across various industries. She then moved on to Ballinger Europe Ltd as a Finance Analyst, gaining experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and management accounting.
Vanessa is actively pursuing the ACCA qualification and is currently two exams away from completing it.
Polina Mifsud
Administrative Assistant
Polina Mifsud joined Hanover as an Administrative Assistant in the Malta office.
Prior to this, she worked as an Accounts and Administrative Assistant at Boatcare Trading Limited and previously worked in Sensus Capital Markets Limited and Belgorod Sber Bank for several years.
Polina graduated from Belgorod State Technological University (Belgorod, Russia) with a degree in Software Engineering.
Mali Shor
Compliance Associate
Mali joined Hanover as an Administrative Assistant, then moved to Investor Relations & Marketing team and now is working as a Compliance Associate. Mali is focusing on AML, Malta and UK Compliance.
Mali joined Hanover in 2017 and has a wealth of experience working in a variety of companies in Russia and Italy.
Roberta Spiteri
Fund Accountant
Roberta is focused on day-to-day operations relating to various Hanover Funds in the following strategies: Private Equity, Public Equity and Credit.
Roberta joined Hanover in 2021 as an Accountant Assistant. Roberta worked at HSBC Bank Malta plc as a student intern and she was previously employed with Ennesse, a Financial Service Company based in Malta.
Roberta is currently working on achieving her ACCA qualification and is half way through her studies.
Sarah Stuart-Jones
Executive Assistant
Sarah is an Executive Assistant and is supporting several Hanover partners.
Sarah joined Hanover in 2022. Previously Sarah worked for The Royal Household as PA to the Deputy Keeper of the Privy Purse. Prior to that she worked at Henry Poole & Co.
Sarah has a 2:1 degree in History and History of Art from the University of East Anglia.
Cassandra Watson
Office Manager
Cassandra is an office manager and focuses on day-to-day operations of managing the London office and supporting the wider team.
Cassandra joined Hanover in 2022 as a receptionist.
Cassandra previously worked in Maximus UK where she was an Employment Advisor. Prior to Maximus, Cassandra worked in a Front of House / Office Manager capacity for both Bea Skin Care and IK Partners.
Tamara Box
Senior Advisor
Tamara is part of the Hanover Group Board and serves on the Investment Committee for Credit investments.
Tamara is a Partner at Reed Smith LLP where she is a leader in structured finance. Previously she was Managing Partner for EMEA for Reed Smith’s Structured Finance Team and Chair of the firm’s Financial Industry Group.
Tamara is a recognised authority in the area of securitisation, having been regularly named a leading practitioner by each of the International Financial Law Review’s Guide to the World’s Leading Structured Finance and Securitisation Lawyers, The Legal 500’s Legal Experts, Chambers’ UK Guide and The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers.
Tamara is a non-executive director, trustee and advisor to multiple organisations including Interpath Advisory, the Chartered Management Institute, gynaecological cancer charity Eve Appeal, children’s charity Theirworld, and is a founding member of the Steering Committee of the 30% Club.
Sir Donald Brydon
Senior Advisor
Sir Donald is part of the Hanover Group Board and serves on the Investment Committee for Private Equity investments.
Donald brings a wealth of experience gained on the boards of several listed companies across a wide range of sectors, as well as significant knowledge and understanding of the finance industry.
He currently serves as Chair of the technology businesses Tide, PrimaryBid and Adarga. He is a past Chairman and Chief Executive of both BZW Investment Management Ltd and AXA Investment Managers SA and was acting CEO of BZW. He was also Chairman of London Stock Exchange Group, the Sage Group, London Metal Exchange, Smiths Group plc, Taylor Nelson Sofres plc, Amersham plc, Royal Mail Group plc, and the London Institute of Banking & Finance.
